Wishing the server would be up sooner.

It's so lonely waiting for a server to come back online, so I look at every "lol" related site I can find, I go to all my WOW related sites, try to work on some 40k figures, give up because it's not working as I'd hope. Slink around youtube, and then decide to blog. Gives me a few minutes to post up my screenshots I've taken in the past week.


I was out farming herbs this weekend, trying to get to the point where my DK alt could make Weapon Vellum III. I took this in sholzalar after I went afk and hid under the waterfall to prevent ganking ^_^



Picked up my warrior the other day. Engineering got easy, Yo! I just spent a short period of time questing in outland, and had the materials for my first flyer. I think it's the coolest!





And finally, While doing Heroics on my mage, I just wish I would of had a light feather, I wanted to jump down there and see what would happen. Probably death, but I always thought there was a lot of cool stuff around these instances no one gets to see.

I go back to school today, and that really bites to me. The good news is, I have this, and two more semesters till I have my degree. It's been my motivation to just get it over with. Believe me, I want a break.

Realistically for me to field all I'd like by the time I'm done I'd really shoot for 2500, but thats just a little too close to Apox for it to sound cozy.

Whats been new?

So what have I been doing recently?
I've A. Gone back to the horde, Why did I ever leave you?
B. Got my priest to 80, and am now suffering the gear rush of pugs in crappy gear!
C.Still running my mage, Leveling a DK tank.
D. had a few little moments of win.




But beyond that, working on my jet bikes, and I was gifted a MIGHTY gift the other day. I'm charging my camera battery to get them ready. All I can say, the Inquisition is coming!

Machinma

I have a plan for my first ever Machinma.
I have the computer to do it, thats for sure.
I heard Iron & Wine's Woman King, and I thought it was the Most AMAZING song ever to do a "Girl Gamer" Tribute.
Here's my idea.
Take this opening statement:
"It doesn't matter how or why you're here, It only matters what you achieve while you're here."

Pair this with images of a young troll, growing up with her parents, the father goes to war, and doesn't come home. She leaves the homestead, finds his weapons, and goes onto the warpath.
A peaceful overview of Old Hillsbrad, a happy warlock entertaining in the Inn, a good time being had by all. Her laying down after a nice night of drinking and partying, only to wake up in Tarren Mill, and undead.
A small bloodelf child running around, meeting a tauren and an orc, them becoming friends.
Back to our Troll, a hunter, she's on the path of a big pet, and wants it badly, an epic scene to get a pet.
Back to our Warlock, she's out on the hunt, mixing alchmey, looking for a certain ability to become a bad ass... Revenge...
Our BF TA and OR are out and about, we see them around Sylvanis as she has her Highborne song. The Bloodelf has become a priets, the Tauren druid, and the Orc is a Shaman.

Then we proceed to the HoR, the 5 of them united.

Bluck.. Colds...

So being sick has offered me some time to get some pieces ready. It's monday, and I have the 13 Jetbikes table ready. The farseer and warlocks are gonna take a little while longer, but I have hopes I can proxy the normal model on a base till I get the pieces I want for them. The other slight problem I have, the list I've prepared uses about 10 Harlequins, of which, I have None assembled. i did however wish to wait until I was done with my other figures before I began using them., It's hard to hold the excitement in though,I know they'll be a devastating hit force once I get them ready to roll.

I had a dream last night...

So just how did my little list do?

We played 2k teams, I was actually working along side a Nids player, against two Chaos Space Marines. We had a bomb in the center of the table that could go off at the start of a round, and had objective holders.

Surprisingly, my Fire Prisms all Remained standing, and never took a hit. Nor did they really do anything EPIC till the last round.
One thing I learned yesterday, Holy Crap. My shining spears are INSANE! They will most DEFIANTLY be a crucial aspect of my army.
My storm guardians didn't have fun with a whip of submission, and it was their death.
Lost one Vyper, had the Missile Launcher and the Bright Lance all the way till the end.
One thing I really want to get going on my army, Harlequins. I think they'll be a substantial benefit to my newly discovered play style. Eldar really seem to benefit from Shooting and Hit and Run aspects of assault.
Not sure when the next game will be, or what my list will be then, but I'm gonna be doing some tweaking, that's for sure.

So today will be the first day I ever field a jetbike type item.
My army list consists of....

1 Autarch on a Jetbike
5 Shining Spears
3 Vypers
3 Warwalkers
10 Dire Avengers
1 Asurmen
10 Storm Guardians
1 Warlock
2 Fire Prisms
8 Fire Dragons
1 Wave serpent for them to chill in.

I find it generally amusing that I believe this army will pack a punch, and I got all the things I wanted and went "Where can I spend 80 other points?"
I don't usually feel that with the eldar...

So the Vyper and Shining Spears are "Table Ready" Assembled, Based, But not "Show case ready". They still need a lot of work before I'm snapping them and putting pictures of them up!

In other news, Christmas was fun, had a lot of food and nice times with the families. School was fine last semester, 3.0 Gpa. I hate to admit though, next semester will be a bitch. I'll be on the road an hour a day, if not a little more, going to and from college. What a pain.. and a strain on my wallet. So I'll be dealing with limited income. I've tried to make a deal with myself.. I'm gonna just pay for my cellphone, my gas, food, and 15 dollars for warcraft (Least I can do to prevent a "I'm gonna go out and spend money" kind of night) and save all the other dollars I get. If I succeed, I'm promising myself a new army. Sounds fair I think? Gives me plenty of time to research and prepare.

I'm also 90% sure I'll be using some High Elf models for my Farseers and Warlocks on Jetbikes. Really excited for that too!
